We are looking for a user-focused designer who can tackle our projects from research to wireframe to final design. You will play a key part in the success of our product, our experience, and our business, bridging the gap between leadership, product owners, engineering team, and customer needs.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with product leads, engineers, and project manager to find solutions that improve user experience and get your designs into production
  • Conduct ongoing research of web-based user interface development best practices, project-specific market research, user research, and user testing
  • Translate research and business plans into product concepts that lead to intuitive user experiences
  • Create final deliverable design and assets for implementation by engineering team
  • Help to maintain and expand on an on-brand UI design system, including reusable design elements and a style guide

What you will bring

  • 3+ years working professionally in Design, User Experience Design, or Digital Product Design with focus on usability
  • Ability to assume ownership, possess strong attention to detail, and commitment to quality
  • Strong collaboration, conflict management, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience implementing new design and design systems across a range of platforms in an iterative software development environment
  • Strong skills with KD, Figma or Sketch
  • Experience designing software products from inception through launch and iteration
  • Ability to identify non-obvious customer needs and distill user research to design the best user interface
  • Experience working in tight design cycles and collaborating with team members for design implementation
  • A willingness to accept constructive criticism, and to iterate as part of a team effort
  • Commitment to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge

Bonus points for

  • Certifications in User Experience (UX) Design and User Interface (UI) Design.
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to understand market-driven product requirements informed by data, survey, or user testing
  • Experience delivering web, mobile, or SAAS products
