Role overview:

The Growth Associate is a critical role for Promise, enabling the Sales team to operate more strategically, efficiently, and effectively. The Growth Associate supports the team across a number of fronts including but not limited to managing the CRM, helping to produce sales materials, tracking and analyzing data in the sales funnel in order to recommend improvements, and performing customer or industry research as needed. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to become a real multiplying force for Promise.

The Growth Associate reports to the Head of Utilities. 

What you'll do:

  • Assist with sales meeting scheduling, prep, and follow up
  • Serve as a point of contact for client questions 
  • Help create and evolve templates for sales materials, ensuring efficient replication
  • Collect and file all internal and external pitch materials, supporting documents, and contracts 
  • Lead research initiatives that aid in client insight gathering and strategic planning process
  • Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes and evaluating / implementing new tools 
  • Translate data or product-specific items into digestible material to meet clients' understanding
  • Demonstrate a passion for data-infused storytelling—help usher in new ways of bringing performance data to life; humanize data; convert analytics output into an emotional, resonant, and memorable story
  • Readily support business development efforts with a focus on ensuring Sales staff is prepared and that timely follow up takes place
  • Support RFP opportunities by gathering and synthesizing information
  • Gather information from the industry ecosystem as needed as we're refining our materials and communicating with organizations
  • Produce a variety of documents and communications (scopes of work, email correspondence, FAQs, slide decks, blog posts, business cases, etc.)
  • Assist with prospecting and relationship development with key stakeholders
  • Work closely with members of the Sales team to understand client goals and support the development and expansion of growth strategies and revenue 
  • Execute some data analysis and assist with the preparation of customer reporting and presentations
  • Own CRM (Hubspot) and sales pipeline maintenance: keep up to date with all sales activity and own reporting cadence and content 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Head of Utilities
