Sales Development Associates will promote Localist’s innovative products to prospective decision makers. We hire for aptitude over direct experience. You will be given sales and product training so you are able to work with our prospects to clearly understand how and if Localist can potentially help them.



  • Becoming an expert on our industry, our products, and our buyers
  • Kick-off the sales process by engaging executives at companies with annual revenues of $50-million+ (B2B) and operating budgets greater than $1m (Nonprofit)
  • Prospect through an account-based strategy, scheduling introductory calls for Account Executives
  • Work closely with your lead AE on planning and execution of our Go-To-Market strategy
  • Use to track and manage activities and pipeline
  • Effectively qualify new business opportunities and manage the hand-off of those opportunities to Account Executives
  • Use the provided intent data and other research tools to effectively identify the intersection of timing and need at target accounts as it relates to the value Localist provides.
  • Generate on average a minimum of 5 new conversations for an AE per week
  • Support the creation of momentum/urgency with a prospect to keep the buying process moving forward



  • 6mo-2 yrs experience in business/sales development roles
  • Ability to use technology to prioritize and manage outreach
  • A natural curiosity combined with a hunter mentality
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic
  • An ability to be held accountable to well-defined performance expectations
  • Prior experience with or willingness to be baptized as a Mac user
