About Farmstead

Our mission at Farmstead is to make fresh, high-quality food accessible to everyone. We’re a new delivery-only grocer that’s re-inventing grocery from the ground up. We focus on mid-market customers (think Safeway, Kroger, etc) and bring them a best-in-class grocery product experience right to their doorsteps, even in areas traditionally underserved by supermarket chains. We accomplish this by writing consumer-facing and operations orchestration code that allows us to be highly efficient relative to legacy supermarkets.

We are looking for an experienced PM to lead Farmstead's Grocery OS platform as we open our software tools to other mid-market grocers to help them coordinate last-mile delivery and optimize inventory with artificial intelligence. You'll work directly with our grocer partners to make sure we’re building the best possible tools to help make affordable grocery delivery accessible to everyone.

This is a remote position.

About You

You are a metrics-led decision maker who’s not afraid to take a leap of faith when necessary — especially when it helps deliver the best experience to our customers. You thrive working on difficult problems in complex systems, and you’re able to make progress on multiple projects at once without being overwhelmed. You collaborate effectively with a wide variety of job types and communication styles, and you think through the impact of each decision on every area of our business.

You've led operations-focused product teams and have experience running a P&L. You’ve built leveraged tools that use machine learning and automation to drive down unit costs at scale. You can pull together great engineering with flawless execution and communication to deliver an outstanding experience to our external stakeholders that directly improves their bottom line. You know that it may take many iterations and experiments to get the experience just right for our partners.
