About this Role
Lyra has developed innovative blended models of coaching and psychotherapy that combine leading clinical expertise with powerful technology.  
 
We are looking for an experienced psychologist with a passion for intervention development, skills training, and writing to contribute to the development of mental health and wellness interventions and content. You will be part of a highly skilled, creative, and collaborative team with an established track record for developing effective and engaging interventions and clinical materials on emotional wellness and psychotherapy skills. 
 
By directly reaching tens of thousands of clients your work on clinical content will help create meaningful positive change on a large scale.  
 
This position can be local (onsite in our Burlingame office when that becomes possible) or remote, or a combination (i.e 2 days onsite, 3 days from home).



Your work will include
  • Leading the design of new mental-health and wellness programs
  • Identifying and proposing topics for emotional wellness and clinical materials
  • Writing new engaging wellness and clinical content including storytelling and dialogue
  • Receiving and incorporating significant feedback on your program proposals and writing 



Requirements
  • PsyD, PhD in Counseling / Clinical / Organizational / Industrial psychology 
  • Excellent training in and deep understanding of evidence-based treatments (like ACT, MBCT, MBSR, CBT, DBT, EFT) and wellness interventions including case conceptualization, treatment planning, curriculum development
  • Experience with parenting interventions, couples therapy and improving relationships
  • Excellent writer with demonstrated writing experience, passionate about writing on wellness and clinical topics
  • 3+ years of experience in providing evidence-based treatments and/or implementing wellness programs
  • Experience in mental health promotion/prevention interventions is a plus
  • Experience as mindfulness trainer and practitioner is a plus
  • Training and experience teaching skills groups directly to clients (DBT, CBT, MBSR) is a plus
  • Experience working with young adults and adolescent clients is a plus
  • Embracing the mission of disseminating emotional wellness and therapy skills to clients on a large scale
  • Comfortable with technology
