Essential Key Job Responsibilities 

  • Build trusted customer relationships through proactive team management and effective project delivery. 
  • Establishes knowledge of customer business challenges and priorities to translate into opportunities. 
  • Maintains regular customer communication and satisfaction, ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed in a timely manner. 
  •  Translate customers’ business needs into detailed product backlogs, business requirements documents, use cases and systems interaction diagrams. 
  • Assists project team to establish high, mid, and micro level plans for project team. 
  • Helps to establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review customer deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria. 
  • Provides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are met.

Minimum Qualifications 

Required Education and Experience  

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Management and/or Product Ownership for consumer-facing products including both web and native mobile 
  • Experience as a Product Owner on at least 1 enterprise AEM Implementation 
  • Experience with multiple AEM/DAM/Analytics implementations that involve integration with authenticated users, backend services, transactional workflows and distributed publishing 
  • Technical understanding for the product core behaviors for managing content (authoring, publishing, analytics) 
  • Able to communicate and demonstrate platform capabilities to audiences who have little or no knowledge of the platform. 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment. 
  • Deep understanding of iterative development methodologies. 
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of current technologies and complex enterprise level applications. 
  • Skilled ability to obtain, understand and respond strategically to client needs. 
  • Highly detail oriented, well organized, and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Energetic, motivated, service-oriented, and be able to multi task. 
  • Proven track record of delivering on time, on budget, and meeting client commitments. 
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and reporting skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science or related field  



Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering 
  • Strong understanding of complex Internet based enterprise level applications 
  • AEM 6 Business Practitioner Certification (If no certification, then 3 - 5 AEM projects and a deep understanding of AEM 6. x).  
  • Leadership experience in a complex health care environment 


Preferred Licensure and Certifications 

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and/or SAFe Certification (POPM) 

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training 

Non-negotiable competencies include: 

  • Deep knowledge of agile rules & practices 
  • Ability to break down user journeys/stories to deliver incrementally based on an MVP strategy 
  • Strong external & internal communication skills 
  • Extensive business domain and/or technical platform expertise 
  • Significant Product Owner experience with publicly-facing digital products 
  • Deep understanding of web and native mobile development 
  • Familiarity with product analytics and dashboard tools (Google Analytics, Tealium, Tableau, etc) 
  • Significant experience in leading cross-functional development teams through inspiration, data-driven decisions and value-focused approaches  
  • Experience leading onshore, near-shore, and offshore teams 
  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • Critical thinking
