At Lockstep, we are building the next evolution of accounting systems. Lockstep was founded on the idea that accounting teams deserve much better tools to manage cash flow and close the books. This is a truly unique opportunity to lead the accounting team at a company that is dedicated to building new ways for accountants to work together.
In order to serve our growing customer base more effectively, Lockstep is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to translate product strategy into results. Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas
Manage implementation of product launches across cross-functional teams
Understand and support our direct and partner channels; train them on the pain points of our buyers and users; train them on how we solve the pain in a differentiated manner; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it
2+ years of accounting product marketing experience with at least 1 year of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)
Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Salesforce
Exceptional results-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working
Excellent listener and collaborator to work with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
