Checkmarx is looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude, and natural sales instincts to join our Sales Development organization as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). As an SDR you will form the core of Checkmarx’s ambitious revenue growth engine and will gain experience interacting with customers from SMB to Enterprise, in a variety of industries/verticals across the US.   • Respond to and qualify incoming digital, web, and phone inquiries, as well marketing events to convert to opportunities to pass to the sales team
  • Outbound prospecting: analyzing the market and directly executing outbound phone and email campaigns with the goal of uncovering viable discovery conversations for the Regional Sales Manager or Inside Sales Representative
  • Meet Daily and Weekly Activity-Based Metrics (Dials, Conversations, Qualified Opportunities), logged in
  • Partner with our experienced Regional Sales Managers in the field and Inside Sales Representatives to help fill their pipeline with qualified opportunities and appointments
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications via phone, email, and social media designed to increase customer interest in Checkmarx products
  • Work closely with Sales Management, marketing, and individual Sales Reps to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  • Provide closed-loop feedback on what is working and not working to ensure continuous process optimization

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 1-3 years in a Biz Dev, lead gen, inside sales, or call center environment with a software company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.   
  • Ability to navigate and enter data into CRM. Experience using - a plus 
  • Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment; the flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods at the end of the month and at the end of the quarter
  • Strong desire to be in technology sales
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effective
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to develop relationships quickly over the phone.
  • Positive attitude and likes to have fun
