We're looking for our first Product Marketer to help us grow our self-serve B2B customer base. We're in the early stages of building B2B at Dataquest, and the product marketer will be critical to figuring out our strategy and growing incoming leads.
 
They'll do this primarily through:
- Doing market research and creating customer profiles
- Creating a B2C2B funnel, including nurture flows and content
- Retaining customers and expanding seats post-conversion
- Owning key parts of our self-serve offering
 
The Product Marketer will report to our head of marketing.



Responsibilities
  • Market research
  • Map out the buyer journey and key roles in the process
  • Map out our market position and key differentiators
  • Identify key verticals that are interested in data science training
 
  • B2C2B funnel
  • Lead efforts to automatically identify potential B2B leads
  • Create custom nurture flows and content to engage potential B2B leads
  • Create and stay accountable to B2C2B funnel metrics
 
  • Retention and seat expansion
  • Continuously engage new customers to learn about their needs
  • Put new customers into nurture flows to drive engagement and seat expansion
  • Coordinate with success to ensure teams have the information they need to use the product effectively
  • Coordinate with product to surface customer pain points
  • Stay accountable to churn and retention metrics
 
  • Self-serve
  • Create and maintain marketing materials and B2B pages on the marketing site
  • Scope out improvements to our self-serve product



What we're looking for - Must Have
  • Experience
  • 3+ years of B2B product marketing experience, ideally in a self-serve B2C2B model
  • Has built a product marketing strategy at an early stage business
  • Ownership of key funnel metrics: product qualified leads, retention, seat expansion
  • Experience working with and analyzing data using tools like Google Analytics and Amplitude
  • Experience creating and optimizing in-app and email nurture campaigns
  • Has worked with content creators to develop collateral to drive freemium conversion
  • Has worked on developing and optimizing landing pages
  • Experience collaborating with sales and product
  • Has conducted market and user research to segment audiences
  • Has created onboarding campaigns to drive retention and seat expansion

Our Compensation Philosophy:
 
We benchmark everyone against a high-paying anchor market and add a cost of living multiplier. This approach allows us to hire the best candidates and retain the best talent for each role regardless of location, as well as bringing more diversity to our team. 
 
The salary range for this role is between $84,407 and $158,660. The final number will depend on the selected candidate's location and years of experience in a similar role.
