DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Lead global architecture and development teams specializing in design and development of software for front to back financial systems supporting Asset Wealth Management (AWM) business. Develop vision and strategy to build foundational platform to develop large scale transformation agenda for AWM business. Design and Develop Data strategy for the organization enabling data driven decision making. Define domain models employing domain driven design (DDD) techniques. Define organization strategy, develop team topologies, and execute hiring plans. Mentor and train staff building world class technology organizations. Define service level objectives for production plant, measure and report key performance metrics. Employ agile best practices and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approaches. Architect and lead re-engineering of legacy applications, improve resiliency of production infrastructure. Partner with business and operations teams to build and execute multiyear roadmaps.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or related field.

Minimum experience required: 10 years of experience in Application Development in a leadership role in Financial Services Industry, or related experience.

Skills Required: Experience with architectures such as high performance, low latency systems covering front office, middle office and accounting functional areas dealing with high volume, specialized products such as OTC derivatives. Experience building large scale data platforms employing techniques such as Hybrid Transactional and Analytical Processing (HTAP) and using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, in-memory databases. Demonstrated knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) methodologies. Demonstrated knowledge of multiple asset classes - Equities, Fixed Income, Listed & OTC Derivatives, and Forex. Experience building and leading high performing technology organizations. Experience defining service level indicators, objectives, building tools to measure and report various key performance indicators. Experience developing web, client/server, n-tier applications using programming languages such as Java, Scala. Experience building multiyear roadmaps working with business teams. Experience in domain modeling in financial services industry. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
