JPM is building the #1 Asset Management Technology platform in the world and we are seeking exceptional, motivated, and world-class talent to join the Portfolio Core Technology team. The team is currently driving a multi-year transformation of Asset Management technology infrastructure. The responsibilities of the Core Technology Delivery Team include overall technical architecture of the platform, development of core/common components and successful end to end project delivery.

As a part of the Core Technology Delivery Team you will face off to multiple teams across asset management. You will play a leading role in strategic decisions including data model design, messaging solutions, database, caching, long term data storage and adoption of private/public cloud. You will be expected to participate in a number of project workstreams to ensure successful end to end delivery. An individual with strong problem-solving skills who can quickly context switch and tackle problems ranging from hands on coding to high level design and architecture would be the ideal fit for the role.

Required skills:
* Knowledge of financial products & trade flows
* Strong technical fundamentals in one or more of the modern programming languages. Preference for experience in Java/Spring
* Proven track record of tacking complex design challenges & delivering large projects
* Ability to iterate quickly with his/her partners
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Comfort with uncertainty and change
* Knowledge of automation tooling for CI/CD delivery
* Experience of Agile/Scrum methodology working in collaborative teams

Desirable Skills:
* Asset management domain knowledge
* Architect/design/implement cloud-based platforms. AWS experience would be a plus.
* Messaging/Kafka/FIX etc.
* HTML5/JavaScript (preferably with React)
* SQL/NoSQL database experience
