Duties: Build and maintain ETL software applications using well designed Ab Initio framework. Support application development during the entire software development lifecycle. Build UNIX shell scripts, SQL/PL-SQL program to interact with various databases and configure jobs scheduling in Control-M. Adopt and adhere to Agile methodology, scrum principles working effectively in a feature team aligned to specific product. Interact effectively with business users, product owners and other stakeholders to understand the requirements, provide solutions, debug business queries.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer/Software Developer, Ab Initio Developer, IT Consultant/IT Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills: Ab Initio GDE; Ab Initio EME; Ab Initio Express>It; Ab Initio BRE; Oracle; Hadoop; HIVE; Beeline; HortonWorks; Control-M; GIT; Subversion; Change Management and Service Management.
