About the Team:

The Quora Ads Partnerships team is responsible for building strong relationships with advertising partners across the globe. Specifically, we aim to connect brands and agencies to our 300M monthly unique visitors in a way that delivers meaningful business outcomes. The team is laser-focused on providing exceptional customer service and building the foundation for long-term partnerships between brands and Quora. About the Role:

As our Agency Sales Manager at Quora, you’ll be directly responsible for developing relationships with agency-holding companies as well as activating agency business on Quora. You will serve as the main point of contact during the onboarding phase and partner with key agencies in the market for account acquisition and account management. You’ll also be responsible for providing market feedback to cross-functional peers to drive ads product development and business marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have deep market knowledge, established connections within the agency ecosystem, high emotional intelligence, strong intrinsic drive, and resourcefulness with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Quora’s relationships with the US big-6 agencies to grow awareness and revenue
  • Serve as the primary liaison between agencies and Quora, and own the sales target for the top accounts of these agencies
  • Partner with Business Marketing to develop and conduct training sessions for agencies to achieve success on Quora
  • Work with Business Marketing to develop sales materials and with Sales to develop agency support plans
  • Ensure that agencies’ voice, opinions, ideas, and feedback are being conveyed back to Quora and its Marketing and Product Development teams
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's "coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time). Learn why here
  • 6+ years of marketing experience in an agency or media sales function
  • 2+ years of experience in digital advertising
  • Familiarity with agency holding companies and strong relationships across the agency landscape
  • Excellent client-facing skills and comfortable with presenting to clients and agencies in multiple level audiences
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment

  • Comfortable working with a new product and serving as the point of contact during the onboarding phase
  • Established relationships and presence within the agency marketplace
