The Role:

Tongal is seeking a results driven Account Director to join its fast paced, high growth, unique and disruptive business. The Account Director will work on the Business Leadership team to build new client relationships and grow existing ones by driving adoption and usage of the Tongal platform.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead key accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for customers
  • Drive sell through and account expansion throughout the client life cycle
  • Participate in new business meetings / pitches on accounts and, ultimately, serve as the primary business leader
  • Create and deliver compelling, customized presentations for prospects and clients that address their core business opportunities and how the Tongal platform can help their efforts
  • Work directly with Sales and the Executive team to close new business and drive long term client retention and account growth
  • Work collaboratively with others on the Business Leadership to cultivate deep personal relationships with current clients
  • Work with Production to consistently deliver outstanding creative work on time and under budget
  • Proactively develop and pitch strategically informed and creatively compelling content ideas to drive platform adoption and usage
  • Track and measure account growth and performance including quarterly and annual business reviews

Requirements / Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills to analyze information and present it in an effective manner
  • Influential communication approach for conversation with various levels and across functions in complex and sophisticated marketing organizations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
  • Understanding and passion for video content and the digital media environment
  • Exposure to traditional, digital, and social media environments
  • Proven track record of results both inside and outside an organization
  • Provent aptitude in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Highly organized, with excellent planning and leadership skills
  • Strategic thinker well versed in all elements video production
  • Versed in presentation, collaboration, and research tools, namely Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Google Apps Suite, and social networks
  • 6-8 years total work experience in an account management capacity; advertising or marketing experience preferred
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree Required
